Holiday Dog Party with Santa

Local microbrewery, Peddler Brewing Company, will be hosting a holiday party where you and your pup can dress up in your best holiday sweaters, take photos with Santa and enjoy some beer. You can take photos with your own camera but they will also be taking photos and posting them for free online. This is a family-friendly event and holiday movies will be playing for children. Pints for Pups will also be there, collecting donations of pet care essentials for the pets in need at the Seattle Animal Shelter, so please be sure to bring some treats, pet food, toys, blankets, etc and receive $1 off your first beer. There will also be the chance to enter to win prizes, including a gift basket valued at $75!

Paws ‘n Claus

Paws ‘n Claus is a special night of Enchant Christmas, the world’s largest Christmas Light Maze and Market, where your pup is also welcome! There will be an all-new adventure called “Mischievous”, Santa’s gifts have gone missing right before Christmas and he’s relying on you and your dog to track them down in the famous light maze.
This larger than life holiday experience will include exploring the light maze with your dog, taking some Insta-worthy photos, grabbing some dog-friendly swag, taking photos with Santa Claus, browsing dog-oriented market stalls, and more. This will be a beautiful night that you and your pup won’t want to miss! Christmas Walk – Olympic Manor, Ballard
Date: Wednesday, December 18th, 2019

Grab your pup and leash, and join “North End Hikes and Walks with Dogs” for their evening Christmas Walk! They will be leaving from Larsen’s Bakery and walking through the neighborhood to Olympic Manor, appreciating the beautiful Christmas lights and displays. This neighborhood is well known for its holiday decor, so you will not be disappointed! The walk will be about three miles and last about an hour and a half. It is suggested that you dress warmly, carry a flashlight and put a light on your dog’s collar. Dogs must be on-leash and there is a scoop law in effect. Home Alone: Holiday Movie Night & Blanket Drive in Ballard

This Movie Night will feature the holiday classic “Home Alone in Peddler Brewing Company’s heated beer garden. Bring some blankets to keep yourself and your dog warm, and at the end of the night, donations of those blankets to local community groups are appreciated! In addition to the blanket drive, there will also be a collection of clean, warm clothing for those in need.

Christmas Sweater and Puppies!

Grab sound friends and your pup and head to Dreadnought Brewing LLC for an afternoon/evening of food, drink and music. Wear your ugliest ugly sweater (bonus points if your pup has one too!) for the third annual Christmas Sweater & Puppies party. Local Dreadnought beer will be available along with BBQ food from The Amarillo. Rey’s House Party will provide great music and the Motley Zoo Animal Rescue will also be onsite if you are interested in pet adoption.

Menorah Lighting at University Village

Dog-friendly University Village will be hosting its annual Hanukkah gathering, featuring klezmer music by the KlezKidz. The Menorah Lighting takes place outside in the pavilion, near the Eddie Bauer and Piatti Ristorante. Dogs are welcome to join you at this event and there will also be dreidels and Hanukkah gelt for the kids!
Dogwood Play Park

Another fun activity for your dog would be a trip to the Dogwood Play Park. The Dogwood Play Park is an indoor/outdoor off-leash dog park and bar – both you and your dog can spend time hanging out with friends. There are some special meetups scheduled for around the holidays as well: there is a small dog meetup scheduled for Dec. 14th at 10:30am PST, a Bernese Mountain Dog meetup on Dec. 21st at 10:30am PST and an Aussie meetup on Dec. 28th at 10:30am. The Dogwood Play Park does require for your dog to be up to date on vaccinations in order for her to be allowed in and they will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
