Terms & Conditions

  1. Pet sitting appointments require a 25% deposit that will count toward your pet sitting balance (refundable if you canceled 14 business days prior to the start date).
  2. During peak season, pet sitting from November 1st thru January 10th requires 100% non-refundable deposit. Some exceptions apply.
  3. New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day services are charged at time and a half.
  4. 24-hour cancellation required on dog walking services and cleaning services or client will be charged for service.
  5. 48-hour cancellation required on pet sitting services (non-peak season) or client will be charged for service.
  6. 2 hour minimum required for cleaning services.
  7. We recommend that dogs be on regular flea treatment
  8. Your pet needs to be up to date with all vaccinations including rabies, combination shots and bordetella for care in our home.
  9. Must have recent fecal exam at your veterinarian to test for intestinal parasites for care in our home.
  10. Payment is due in full at time of service (except during peak season, payment is due in full to hold spot for pet services).
  11. If we are unable to gain access to your home with keys you have provided or you forget to leave a key you will be charged 50% of services.
  12. In the event of inclement weather or natural disaster, Pet Sitter is entrusted to use best judgment in caring for pet(s) and home.  Pet Sitter/Cosmic Home & Pet Services will be held harmless for consequences related to such decisions.
